GDPR Compliance for Higher Education

The US has been the country of choice for international students looking for a quality higher education experience. In 2017, the US hosted about 1.1 million international students, more than any other country in the world.

Hosting foreign students often means complying with rules and regulations. For example, for students from the European Union (EU), US colleges and universities must now adhere to comprehensive and mandatory privacy rules put forth in the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
